Mukhtar Ahmad BDS (Manc)

I qualified from the University of Manchester in 1999 and after completing my vocational training, have since worked with Ian and Associates in general dental practice.

I have undertaken several postgraduate courses relating to aesthetic as well as general dentistry.

I am also a member of the lifelong learning programme of the General Dental Council. I have recently undertaken a course in inhilation sedation

This is a method of treating anxious patients needing complex procedures, using a small injection at the back of the hand.

In September I hope to begin a two year Masters Programme in Endodontics at the University of Manchester.

I provide treatment for adult patients through Denplan Care or on a private fee per item basis.

I am concentrating on the private aspects of treatment as I wish to spend more quality time with patients.
