I qualified from Manchester University in 1979 and went straight into General Practice. After a spell in working in practices in Liverpool and Leigh I bought my own practice here in Sale in 1984, before moving into our present premises in 2003. Since then I have steadily expanded the practice up to its present strength of five dentists, three part time hygienists and full support team. In 1989 I was appointed to work as a trainer with newly qualified dentists and supervise their work. I have undertaken a number of postgraduate qualifications in the last ten years and was made a Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2005. I have been a member of the Faculty since it was founded and was Director of the North Western Division for four years. I have been a National Board member for five years and was Chairman of the Education Committee 2004/5. I held a teaching post at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital in Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics for five years and am currently Course Director of the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry run by the Royal College of Surgeons of London . I treat adult patients on a private basis only or via the monthly payment scheme offered by Denplan. I particularly enjoy restoring people's mouths and am experienced in all areas of cosmetic dentistry including tooth whitening, implants, veneers, crowns and bridges.
