Use a FLUORIDE toothpaste, one that contains the correct amount of fluoride for your age.
Use a pea sized amount for children under 7 years of age.
Check the toothpaste is sugar free - some herbal toothpaste may not be.
If your teeth are sensitive, Sensodyne F may be brushed onto or applied directly onto the sensitive area.
Avoid abrasive toothpastes such as smokers toothpaste
Many of the foods you eat cause the bacteria in your mouth to produce acids. It is not only sugary foods that cause acids to form, other foods can too. For example, starches such as bread and cereal. If you snack throughout the day, acid may be forming, attacking your teeth all day long.
